Sarasota- The Suncoast Millionaires announced the return of Ex-NFL player Earnest P. Givins Jr. as head coach of the highly accomplished minor league football team. As an ex-NFL star, Givins brings a wealth of talent and athletic insight to a team notable for their past winning spirit. His professional career began in 1986 as a wide receiver with the Houston Oilers when picked in the second round of the NFL 1986 draft. Nine of Givins' 10 seasons in the NFL were played with the Oilers which included a two-time selection for the 1990 and 1992 Pro Bowl. He was recognized for his celebration dances after a touchdown in which many passes came through the hands of legendary quarterback, Warren Moon. Givins' career stats include 571 receptions, 8,215 receiving yards, and 49 touchdowns.
The Suncoast Millionaires would like to welcome back head coach Earnest Givins to the team with anticipation of an unprecedented season of success.
